Sully Buttes School

The new Sully Buttes Secondary School in Onida will house the middle school and high school students. The new 37,000sf facility will include eight general purpose classrooms, F.A.C.S. classroom, 3 science labs, vocational-agriculture classroom & shop, locker rooms, and ancillary spaces. The facility will be attached to the existing gymnasium and library. The commons area will be a higher space with clerestory windows for natural lighting.

The new facility will be heated and cooled with a ground-source geothermal system. A separate School District Administration Center will also be constructed as part of the project. Construction is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2015. Upper Deck Architects completed a facility assessment study for several buildings within the School District. This project was a direct result of the findings from the needs assessment.
