Base Engineering Maintenance Building

This project included a 70' x 740' maintenance facility with offices, storage area, and a shop area that contains three overhead cranes, as well as a separate 60' x 225' covered storage facility. Work was started shortly before September 11, 2001, and working within the Air Force restrictions during that time caused extensive searches, time delays, and security checks. During construction, several owner-initiated changes were made to improve the functionality of the building. All of this created a challenging project, but the project remained under budget and on time.
