Dakota Theatre Unplugged
Rapid City construction workers are making good progress in an effort to totally renovate the 1937 Dakota Middle School Theatre. The historic facility will receive a completely new stage area, a more spacious and comfortable viewing area, updated heating and cooling systems, and functional backstage support space.
Sam’s Club held its Grand Opening festivities over the weekend and was greeted with hoards of customers. The new store is noticeably bigger and brighter, and customers will have more amenities at their disposal. J. Scull Construction Service built the facility and is a leader in retail construction in South Dakota.
The new Sam's Club in Rapid City is now open. The 140,000-square-foot store in the Rushmore Crossing shopping will hold its Grand Opening on March 10th. The facility ushers in a new era of commercial buildings in this area and is built with energy-saving initiatives.
Western South Dakota has seen a lot of snow this year and it just keeps coming. South Dakota construction crews have been slowed down by the weather, but the moisture is generally a good thing for the area and the economy. Lakes and stock dams will be full this year which will make for good recreation and productive year for agriculture. Both are great for the local community.
