Rural America Initiatives New Facility
Rural America Initiatives (RAI) has been providing hope and assistance to Rapid City families since 1986. The services they provide are unique to the area and to the country.
Rapid City is home to about 80,000 people, and about 25% are Native American. RAI focuses it's efforts on helping Native American families through programs for children from pre-natal through high school. The organization employs over 100 full time staff; eighty-five percent are Native American.
RAI has grown in size and the impact they provide on the Community. With that growth comes a need for a new facility. Scull Construction has been honored to work with RAI and Community leaders to communicate the need and the benefits that RAI provides the entire area. Fundraising has been successful because of that effort and communication. With a little more effort and some luck, RAI will break ground on their new facility this spring. It will be a great project and an asset to the Rapid City Community.
At Scull Construction we not only strive to build great buildings, but we strive to make our communities better. We do this by getting involved, addressing area needs, and encouraging all of our workers and their families to contribute. And it is working because this community involvement comes from the top down. We are proud of the work we do and the impact that we have on others.
